Pros

Good people, lots of long standing employees who have been genuinely happy to stay in their roles for long periods of time.

Cons

Pay rises are few and far between, if you are lucky enough to get one, it is usually less than inflation. High turnover of c-level and an abundance of middle management leads to zero accountability and lack of progress. Projects are almost always half-baked, underfunded and rushed in at the last minute with huge pressure put on individuals who were not privy to the planning process. Certain high level managers are also hostile to anyone who is not a yes-man. Micromanagement is rife, which was not always the case.

Pros

Free parking. Great subsidized canteen and coffee shop.

Cons

From day one, no proper onboarding process. No training or personal development. High turnover of staff. Pay remained stagnant despite increased responsibilities and proven performance. HR far from impartial, they seemed entirely aligned with management, dismissing valid concerns without proper investigation. This contributed heavily to an overall feeling of being unheard and undervalued.

Pros

Top infra/cloud bod is leaving! The amount of time I am willing to spend on this review

Cons

Still some people managers that are.... 'sub-optimal' for the job Not enough knowledge sharing, people keeping things to themselves Collaboration does not exist Seems to be a lot of gossip Blame culture (why must we find who to blame before fixing the problem?) Change process is/was exceptionally bad (Jan 2022) Security is taken seriously, but executed poorly
