Health Insurance plan is pretty good. Great coworkers.
Cons
Extremely stressful work environment. You will have to deal children struggling with severe behavioral issues, which is part of the job. However, the company does not compensate well. Management and administration doesn't seem to care about their employees. No breaks. You will have to work 16 hour days. Work holidays. Agency talks about the importance of self-care but doesn't deliver. Employees getting injured. Lack of support. Extremely high turnover rate.

Cons
As with any non-profit, Sarah Reed strives to increase minimum entry rates for direct care positions. They have made progress with this at the residential facility and that positive change will probably continue into other programs. They have listened and are responding, so that is great!
Direct care positions are high-stress jobs, but there is a lot of support and promotion of self-care.
