Pros

Great engineering culture with supportive teammates and approachable leadership. Engineers are trusted to own their work and encouraged to learn, experiment, and improve systems. The company promotes a healthy work-life balance, flexible remote work, and modern engineering practices. There are plenty of opportunities to work with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and reliability engineering while collaborating across teams.

Cons

Like many growing technology companies, priorities can shift quickly, requiring teams to adapt to changing business needs. Some internal processes and documentation could be more standardized, but the organization is continuously improving and open to employee feedback.

Pros

It is clear from day 1 how much Thinkific invests in their culture and employee experience, and truly cares about doing right by their employees. Some examples include generous time off (vacation, sick days and other paid health leaves), a learn & grow fund for professional development, volunteer days, and DEIB awareness initiatives. There is an expectation of high performance and AI adoption, as needed to survive and thrive in today’s environment. I learn something new at Thinkific everyday!

Cons

None that I can think of.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that the work culture and flexible time off policy have been positive highlights of your experience! Thank you for also sharing your experience around growth. We know that opportunities to grow and develop are important, and it's something we're actively looking at beyond our Learn and Grow fund, including how we can better support learning and expansion within roles and increase internal mobility across the organization. We've created some recent information around internal mobility for Thinkers in our Hiring Hub in Guru, so we hope this helps clarify. We'd encourage you to keep the conversation going with your People Leader or People Business Partner about what growth looks like for you specifically. They're a great resource for exploring what's possible. Thank you again for sharing this with us.
