Pros

Strong Market mapping and intelligence. Had a positive experience here overall, naturally members of certain teams have completely different experiences. Upon joining you’ll quickly realise the most favourable team to be in.

Cons

Average client base and relationships. Still a relatively new business, still trying to find its feet. T2 search firm, still a great place to establish yourself as a grad.

Pros

Learning the technical detail on the industry

Cons

Employee turnover. Every month we had at least one person leave the firm.

Thank you for your feedback. Search is a high-performance, target-driven environment, and that naturally comes with pressure. It won’t suit everyone, but it’s also what drives results for clients and creates the opportunity for progression and earnings for those who embrace it. We’ve made a number of changes to structures and targets as the business has grown. The aim has been to improve clarity and support development, not to create change for the sake of it. On turnover, like the wider industry, not everyone decides this is the right long-term career. For those who do, and who lean into the expectations, there is a clear path to progress and build a successful career here.

Pros

Good office location Opportunity for lots of money in the long-term (but don't expect anything other than your base for the first year or so) Socials and charity partnerships

Cons

Abrasive L&D Demotivating promotion structure and extremely ambitious immovable targets Base comp below London living wage for the first few months, and still low even after probation Laid off their HR team Managers lacking in managerial skills Make internal colleagues write 5 star reviews on this site to offset the bad reviews

We’re sorry to hear your experience wasn’t as positive as it could have been. Our promotion structure and targets are commercially viable and have been achieved by others in the business. Salaries increase once probation is passed and again with each promotion, with commission earned alongside. As with any role in search, compensation is weighted heavily towards commission rather than base, which was explained during the interview process. Naturally, this does indeed ramp up following the first year, where you are learning the job and building your network. We restructured the people team in line with the size of the firm, which was communicated at the time. We’re also sorry to hear you found the L&D "abrasive" - those succeeding here generally see the value in embracing the on-desk support and feedback provided. Colleagues are asked to give a realistic account of their time with the business on this site. Naturally, reviews from those still with the firm and performing well will be more favourable than those of individuals who've since left the industry.
