Pros

Salary was on-point with market price.

Cons

Avoid TransACT - the CEO likes to talk a big game but is totally checked out of actually running a business. There are a lot of sketchy moves by management, and they treat their long-term employees like they are temporary workers, not valuable, trusted assets. They nickel and dime you for the most ridiculous things, i.e. use their security cameras to monitor how long you take a break. There's a lot of integrity missing with this company - it's clear that the CEO is in it for the money, and his employees needs don't even come close to second.

Pros

I have been with TransACT for over 20 years. If that doesn't say something about the company, I don't know what will. I am frequently asked why I have chosen to stay with one company for this long and the answer is simple, I will give you my top 3..... 1. I told my self on day one that i will only stay at a company for as long as I continue to grow. There is nothing more true than that here at TransACT. Over the past 20 years I have had the opportunity to learn and grow on a continuous basis. That tradition has continued under our new leadership team. Our current CEO encourages us and provides the challenges we need to continue further our professional growth. Under his leadership not only are we continuing to grow professionally, but we are growing as a company. I am excited to see what comes next. 2.I want to work for a company that provides products and/or services that benefit their target audience. What better feeling can you have then to know what you do everyday helps school district's nationwide. All products and services provided by TransACT have one goal... keep the money where it is needed most, in the classroom. How can you not feel great about that. 3. Great team members. We have an amazing cohesive team that works together to find the best possible result. We work collaboratively and always work towards one common goal, how can we make our products/services work better for our customers.

Cons

With the fast pace growth we are experiencing, maintaining and updating process can be a challenge.

Pros

Great company culture! The people make the place and our office is a very positive and supportive environment. A lot of professional opportunities to learn, grow, and develop skills. Middle and upper management support autonomy in all roles, but are hands-on when it's needed. Creative thinking, innovation, and collaboration are encouraged. CEO is very business and SaaS savvy, approachable, likable, and eager to support all staff in reaching her/his goals. Work/Life balance is excellent. Benefits are outstanding!!

Cons

The company is growing and with growth there can be minor growing pains. My biggest hurdle right now is managing our newest resources (i.e. new support software) and seeing how they fit into my role and processes. Not a bad problem to have!
