Pros
The office space (which is shared with 5 other companies) is a dog friendly environment. The other interns were super nice. There is an open work space. You can work in the office or in the main space, although the interns were aggressively told we didn't spend enough time in the actual office. We get free lunch on Monday's but you have to work through lunch. They are hiring more full time employees so hopefully the work load will be disturbed more evenly.
Cons
Management wrote a lot of these reviews, don't be fooled. There are long hours with 0 wiggle room to change your schedule. There is only 6-8 employees so it makes for a very awkward office at times. The senior employees are unapproachable and cold. During our interview process we were promised travel credits and it was never mentioned again. A lot of projects that were given were just data input. Interns were forced to use their own social media networks to promote their brand and they were extremely aggressive about it (not okay!!!) We were expected to work 40 hours a week and if we had to leave early or had a medical appointment we had to make it up, ridiculous as this was unpaid. I do not recommend Stride. The "experience" from this non-paid internship is not worth it.
