      Bad Values, Bad Culture, No Loyalty – Everyone is Easily Expendable

      Pros

      I wasn't going to leave a review until I saw three canned positive reviews in a row -- obviously from management. Who else writes (look for them in the three straight reviews) "typical growing pains" in their reviews? And from three straight reviews?!? Real reviews have real positives and negatives. Here are the pros: Farhad is nice; You have Autonomy in your job; You work very closely with eclectic people with eclectic backgrounds; You won't get in trouble for having a movie playing on your screen while working

      Cons

      I'd rather work at Uber than Tubi TV. Cons: Not a real "startup" as there's an amazing amount of outstanding shares that make your options worthless no matter how much the company might one day be acquired for (wishful thinking); They feel more like a chop shop and the talented employees leave after realizing that fear is a motivating tactic; People don't want to work with cowards who hide behind the power of their position to instill fear in someone -- I think everyone who has worked at this company knows who we're talking about

      A Smoke And Mirrors Company, Fortunate To Be At The Right Place At The Right Time

      – Free food (which is a con, if you consider how little you get to leave the office)

      Cons

      – The Head of Business Development/Co-Founder lacks any sort of vision and relies on a bullying method to achieve optimal output from employees. To all who have been angered (and that's a LOT of people) trust in karma. – The CEO and Co-Founder lacks guile and gumption. Between the two co-founders, there's a huge gulf of knowledge and etiquette that is lacking on how a startup should be ran. – Strict two week vacation policy

      Pros

      Good technology stack, relaxed atmosphere and business area (nothing will happen if the site just goes down for a day or two).

      Cons

      One of my colleagues called it "racism". All "white people" (I don't qualify myself as such) are getting rid of; the development is taken over by the Chinese team, whose opinion is precious and everybody else's is worth nothing. I was fired for sarcasm, imagine. A good professional, but with a sarcasm. Meaning, probably, that I smiled when someone from China was pushing nonsense. Oh, and no stocks. Also, "hiring bonus" which you have to return if you leave in less than 12 months.
