      Tulsa County IT was good before New Management

      Time off and Holidays, Some of the people not in a management roll. Retirement,

      IT Management, its the good old boys system back in action, were they hire there friends and get rid of quality people. You can work here for over 5 years and have certifications and over 8 years of experience in the IT field, but that doesn't mean a thing to them since to them IT is nothing more than a word and anyone can do it. Like having someone with a degree in ART as a Computer Tech. Or hiring satellite Tv guys that can't install printers on a PC. They have management that threaten to not give out pay raises since they didn't get there boss a Christmas present. That is the kind of people who are now running the IT department at Tulsa County. I DO NOT RECOMMEND WORKING FOR Tulsa County IT until the current Management is gone.

      Pros

      I worked there for more than ten years. Before this year, management was great and workload was challenging. I looked forward to going to work. I would have recommended it to anyone.

      Cons

      It was a great place to work until a falsified departmental audit turned everything upside down last year. New management was brought in who seem to be in the current elected officials pockets and have made some pretty bad decisions that really have not done a thing to improve our department. I'd go so far to say that morale has never been lower and never has so much money been wasted. It feels like we were being spied on and under constant scrutiny.

      County IT use to be a good place to work. Looked forward to everyday and retiring there

      Cons

      New Management has run the department into the ground. They have hired unskilled workers in skilled positions. Most of the It department sits around and watches Netflix all day while people are waiting to get serviced. Maybe one day one of the Commissioners will wake up
