Pros

If you enjoy travelling a lot then it is a pro. Free snacks etc in Memphis HQ. Offices are new and a nice place to work (in Memphis again) Meals paid for when you travel. Nothing else really.

Cons

Management micro-manage alot. There is no real direction given to team. Management just expect you to get the deal without helping. No commission structure given due to the "company not doing well" however management are given bonuses and commission. Even if you do a massive sale management say anyone could have done it. No real appreciation given to employees. Employees feel undervalued and in the constant fear that they will be sacked the next day. Four people left/ fired in the last two months. Massive staff turnover. CEO stands in the sales area and shouts at team for not getting enough sales. Pay increases are barely given to sales team. Management work on projects that do not bring any money to the company and expect the sales team to pick up the slack. Company targets are impossible to reach. But still expected to be reached even in a declining market. Management barely do business development they expect sales team to do so behind a desk. People are fired just because the management felt like it. CEO talks about people in the UAM family but does not actually stick by that. Management have a few favorites that get ridiculous rewards for doing 1 million dollar sales. But the same does not apply to other team members that do the same.

Pros

Happy hour on Fridays and get to visit the US office occasionally. Keri is a great enforcer of community spirit and tries to give as much back as possible.

Cons

Poor management. Sadly the company has been on a downward spiral since new ownership. There is a complete lack of direction as the left hand seemingly has no idea what the right is doing! Commission structure was great at first and one of the reasons I had joined, soon after hitting my targets the structure was changed (Apparently in our favour) but it made it even harder to achieve afterwards! What a way to motivate your staff. Great employees are promoted into different roles only to receive no help and then be sacked for poor performance. Great work team! Pay is well below industry standard.

Pros

You can wear bluejeans most days and drink on Fridays. If that's what it takes to make you happy this is the place for you!

Cons

The review by the current employee (Jefe) is inaccurate to the point of being ridiculous. It's also a whole lot biased considering it was written by the president who is the source of most of what's wrong with this place. To be honest, tho, he does have quite a lot of help from the CEO who is the most emotionally unstable person I have ever met in my life! She's spoiled, volatile and erratic and is far too immature to be a CEO much less the owner of a business. They lay off employees and tell others if they want to keep their Jobs then they will have to take a pay cut but then they hire a personal assistant for the president and the CEO to get them their coffee, lunch and dry cleaning. Uproot people from their homes and other jobs then fire them without warning. Turnover is crazy even in management. I've never seen anything like it! This was the worst job I have ever had and the most difficult year of my life.
