      CEO who should have stayed the CFO

      Pros

      At one point the people in the middle management were the best - they had experience and they cared about their people - now they are being beaten down by "YES" men who never fight for their people.

      Cons

      Complete lack of respect for Sales Division. Managers seem to look down at the ASR position who are in charge of day to day sales and direct contact with the customers. The biz dev staff are looked at as lazy and are compensated at a level of a 12 yr old. with more time spent doing Excel reports that calls with clients.

      Company That Needs to See Writing on the Wall

      Pros

      Working with clients (the ones that weren't overly needy) on a daily basis, helping them get the most out of tracking their media coverage nationwide.

      Cons

      Sometimes unreasonable expectations from management - mainly, the NYC headquarters - on sales goals for a particular month. Also, a general refusal by management to listen to input from those dealing with customers on a daily basis.

      Pros

      Above average personal and vacation time off, regular schedule with no overtime required, full benefits package, easy job.

      Cons

      Upper management treats lower level employees as completely expendable. Raises can't be counted on annually and when they are given never keep up with inflation or increases in our health insurance costs---I take home less now than when I started five years ago. Overtime is restricted. Very few opportunities to advance within the company.
