Pros

Great resume builder, exposure to many different aspects of business operations, travel

Cons

The owner could care less about his employees, he only cares about money. Even the very upper management is afraid of him. Politics, it's all about who you are friends with and how you look Pay is terrible unless you are at the top Overwork their employees They do not create a culture of trust, friendship or creativity. Very strict and bleak. Do not sign their non-compete

Pros

Fantastic individuals on all scales of the workforce. A truly driven collection of individuals. Great place to cut your teeth. Plenty of exposure to new technologies. Though opportunities are slim for career advancement, you will be shown around a world-class showcase of clientele. Plenty of room to learn. Competitive benefits. Respectable tuition reimbursement, and a push toward continuing education. Some members of leadership are truly quite open personally and professionally, and they are willing to work for you - put them in your corner.

Cons

These issues I bring up below are not just my own personal opinion, but are shared between many colleagues both current and former. I respect the company and truly wish for things to get better for everyone currently employed there, but internal channels are not effective at delivering powerful and actionable feedback for this company. Workplace culture eroded due to COVID. While the office was built technologically to withstand the brunt, allowing the company to transition to 99% remote status, inter-company relations suffered, and departmental isolation(sometimes on a per-team basis) grew significantly. Certain departments are more taxing than others when it comes to the forward progress of the company. At times there is a visible disparity between the treatment of certain departments from leadership. Significant penny pinching on budget - the money is there, but you have to fight for a reasonable salary. You will likely be considered FLSA exempt. It is normal, depending on department, to work far beyond your normal schedule to fit client needs. Some say the benefits (travel and opportunities) are worth it, I disagree.

Pros

- You might get to travel to cool places - You might learn some neat things about the way decisions in technology are made - There are some good people there who are still there for some reason

Cons

- Overwork - Underpay - Upper management will not listen to you unless you work directly for them - Requests for raises will get laughed off - Any bonuses given are paired with "don't tell anyone you're getting this" so they can be to avoid riling up employees' demands for more money - Back-stabby, gossipy management culture
