These issues I bring up below are not just my own personal opinion, but are shared between many colleagues both current and former. I respect the company and truly wish for things to get better for everyone currently employed there, but internal channels are not effective at delivering powerful and actionable feedback for this company.
Workplace culture eroded due to COVID. While the office was built technologically to withstand the brunt, allowing the company to transition to 99% remote status, inter-company relations suffered, and departmental isolation(sometimes on a per-team basis) grew significantly.
Certain departments are more taxing than others when it comes to the forward progress of the company.
At times there is a visible disparity between the treatment of certain departments from leadership.
Significant penny pinching on budget - the money is there, but you have to fight for a reasonable salary.
You will likely be considered FLSA exempt. It is normal, depending on department, to work far beyond your normal schedule to fit client needs. Some say the benefits (travel and opportunities) are worth it, I disagree.
