Pros
Working from home & fully remote role
Cons
Following the offer, I was shocked to find out that you have to use your own device and would reimburse you a £700 'tech fund' spread over a 12 months period .. given the salary and company-sensitive data this is a GDPR nightmare ... why would I want a company to monitor my own personal device. Device issues aside .. they had no onboarding plan for me & left me to my own devices for days, I decided the role wasn't for me. Pay .. I've read that 'pay was mainly paid on time' ... In the UK they don't use a Payroll provider and they pay people manually .. which means basically its between 27th and 1st of the month .. whenever the person feels like running payroll .. which if you have bills to pay.. isn't great. They did report that I earned a full months wage to HMRC who think I earn more than I did this year and are taxing me at the higher bracket, something which I later had to file an employment tribunal claim & still isn't fixed !! All in all .. be wary
