Pros

The package they offer is quiet good.

Cons

They recently opened many projects in CAPEX domain and employees are rotting in hell there. When you are getting roped in, the recruiters will be pouring sweet words that Vector is the heaven on the earth. Because, them as well as the referrers within the company are getting paid with huge bonuses for new recruits. They say you will have great work life balance and then you join the site. You would have had some dignity in the past jobs. But after joining the site you are going to work as just expeditors. No respect from client, not even from the project managers. The work environment is extremely toxic. Most of the days you will have to work 13 to 14 hours (at least 3~4 days in a week). Then you will have to work even on saturdays and sometimes on sundays They say ‘Infinite Leave’ policy, and as an outsider you might be thinking how is it even possible? It is basically ‘No leave policy’. Your project managers would literally make your life hell if you approach them asking leaves, while they enjoy the freedom of infinite leave policy. Vector says it’s much concerned about growth of individuals, and one need to compete with himself alone. Let alone growth, people don’t even find time to take care of their day today work. Since it’s a small company, they don’t have any policy written down. Even though the directors have laid out this for the wellness of people, this policylessness is extremely exploited by the project managers. It’s creating very negative impact and highly toxic work environment.

Dear employee, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience. It’s concerning to learn about the challenges you’ve faced, particularly in the CAPEX domain. We understand that what you’ve described is far from the work environment we aim to create at Vector. Your comments about the long hours, the difficulties with taking leave, and the issues with the project managers' approach are deeply troubling. We take these concerns very seriously, and it’s clear that we need to address them more effectively. The well-being of our employees is a top priority, and we’re committed to ensuring that our policies—especially those intended to support work-life balance—are applied fairly and consistently. We apologize if the reality of the work environment didn’t match the expectations set during the recruitment process. This disconnect is something we need to address to rebuild trust and ensure transparency moving forward. Your advice to management is well taken. When issues are raised, timely and decisive action is essential. We are actively looking into these matters, and we encourage you to reach out directly to HR or management so we can work together to find solutions. We are committed to making Vector a place where everyone feels respected and valued. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention. Your feedback is crucial for us to make the necessary improvements.

Pros

No Pros. They are a big bunch of liars. Whatever they commit at the time of joining. they don't restrict with those words later.

Cons

Compensation is very bad. At the time of joining they will give you simulation you getting very good hike per year. But it comes at appraisal they don't even increase a penny at the end of first year. Technically, you will work on the same salary for two years.

Pathetic experience

Pros

Salary on time. That's all.

Cons

As a employee, my experience with this company was nothing short of a rollercoaster, characterized by extreme narcissism, a severe lack of work-life balance, client's disrespect and egotistical middle management. Firstly, the company's culture is marred by an overwhelming sense of narcissism. From top to bottom, there is a pervasive attitude of self-importance that can be suffocating. This culture is reflected in the way decisions are made. Work-life balance is a distant dream at Vector Consulting Group. The relentless demands of the job, coupled with unrealistic expectations, create an environment where personal time becomes a luxury. Employees are often tethered to their work, with little regard for their well-being outside the office. This imbalance takes a toll on both physical and mental health, contributing to a high turnover rate. Middle management, purportedly the bridge between employees and higher-ups, is a major source of frustration. Their communication skills leave much to be desired, often veering into arrogance. Interactions with them can feel like navigating a minefield of egos, where constructive feedback is rare, and dissent is met with hostility. This lack of empathy and understanding hampers the growth and morale of the team. Attrition rate is high due to this kind of toxic culture.

Dear employee, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, though it’s clear that your time with us was far from what we strive for. We are deeply saddened to hear about the negative aspects you’ve described, particularly regarding the company culture, work-life balance, and the behavior of middle management. It’s troubling to hear that you felt the environment was characterized by narcissism and a lack of empathy. These are not values we wish to uphold, and we regret that this was your experience. Your comments about work-life balance and the challenges you faced with middle management are especially concerning, as we recognize the importance of both in maintaining a healthy, productive work environment. We wish you had felt comfortable bringing these issues to our attention earlier, as we are committed to addressing such concerns head-on. Your feedback has not fallen on deaf ears, and it is clear we have significant work to do to ensure our company culture aligns with the values we aspire to. We will be taking a closer look at the issues you’ve raised to make the necessary changes. We encourage open dialogue, and if you’re willing, we’d appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience further to understand how we can improve. Thank you again for your honesty. It’s feedback like this that helps us reflect and strive to be better.
