      Great uk team but terrible upper management

      Pros

      Great uk team and amazing engineering team keeping the place afloat.

      Cons

      The C Level in the US have some terrible practices and don't really care about their staff and are very money oriented. I wish the UK all the best, but I left before the place fell over. The morale is very low and having nice co-workers wasn't a good enough reason to stay. 15 years ago they could have really made something for themselves, but a series of bad decisions and poor management meant others took the lead in the video chat arena.

      Pros

      The UK office was a really great place to work. It was full of hard workers and people dedicated to innovation and making sure customers were looked after.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, decisions made at the top over the years have been really questionable. That coupled with bad CEO choices have made the company’s future really uncertain. The previous CEO at least put in good practices and looked after the staff but was just never present. The latest one is way out of their depth and has alienated staff (I think there’s less than 10 left now) while being absolutely devoid of any new ideas to make the product cutting edge again. Customers and partners actively asked for them to be left out of meetings which is a tough situation for teams. I think the company is only heading one way unfortunately which is a shame.

      A great U.K team with weights on their ankles

      Pros

      The U.K has a hard working core team that are passionate about the technology and improving the company. The technology, although a little outdated, still proves to be a market leader. With more engineering investment, it can be even better. The office is a great space and a real benefit of working at Vee24. Managers within the U.K. provide great training, resources and offer professional direction.

      Cons

      Management in the US are amongst the laziest individuals I’ve ever worked with that drag down the UK team. A ‘do as I say’ not ‘do as I do’ attitude from US management. No marketing and lack of appetite to invest in it. No loyalty schemes in place.

      Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear you've had a somewhat negative experience. My name is Tomer, I'm the new CEO as of December 12, 2022. I couldn't agree with you more regarding the UK core team being hardworking, passionate about the company and technology. People are the company and Vee24 has been fortunate to have a great team that has been loyal since the early days. I am not even 2 weeks into the role, but my commitment is to bring about change and address many of the issues you have brought up.
