Velrada is no longer a company I'm proud to work for. Since the original owners left, the environment has become stressful, toxic and unethical. Many of us are just waiting for the right opportunity to move on, and when it comes, we won't hesitate to leave. Since NRI took over, the company has gone downhill, starting with the appointment of new CEO who rarely shows up, while we're required to fill out attendance sheets just to prove we're in the office.
We used to have be able to work remotely, but now that's only granted to management's favorites. Serious complaints about leadership, go completely ignored. Upper management are focused only on protecting themselves instead of supporting the people who actually keep things running and fill their pockets.
Management has NO care about our well-being either. They openly talk down about people in front of others, it's disrespectful and unprofessional and fuels the toxic environment.
On top of that, there's no clear pipeline of work. There are many of us on the bench right now. Instead of addressing these business challenges, people are put pushed out of the company through performance plans or made redundant. There have been mass redunancies and layoffs and more expected, we are all feeling unsettled. There is no clear direction on where the business is heading. It seems that NRI will just start to take over soon, and then we are all essentially made to leave.
