Pros

Genuinely difficult to list a single positive aspect of this company.

Cons

Working at Victoria Beckham Limited has been one of the most disheartening experiences of my career. The company is rife with favouritism and internal politics, creating an atmosphere where a sense of teamwork or community is utterly nonexistent. It's a place where only those who thrive on living in fear every single day can survive. The culture is toxic, and the hierarchy is a mess, with almost everyone holding inflated titles like Director or Senior Leader, despite having no training or experience to justify these roles. For anyone considering an internship here, be warned: you’ll find yourself doing the duties of employed staff, all while not receiving a single penny. It's shocking that the HMRC hasn't intervened yet to address this blatant exploitation. The company relies on a constant churn of unpaid interns to get actual work done, which is both unethical and illegal. The physical environment of the offices reflects the soulless nature of the company. Cold, sterile, and utterly devoid of any personality, it feels more like a corporate dungeon than a creative workplace. There’s no warmth, no sense of belonging, and certainly no support for personal or professional growth. Progression is a myth unless you're 'in' with the right crowd. The leadership plays favourites, and if you're not in their inner circle, you're invisible. In summary, Victoria Beckham Limited is a place that thrives on fear, exploitation, and favouritism, with no real opportunities for growth or professional development. It's a deeply unpleasant environment that I would not recommend to anyone looking for a respectful and supportive workplace.

Pros

Hybrid depending on the team

Cons

Honestly I find the positive reviews delusional. Each department is its own little clique and that’s explains VB perfectly. It is all cliques, drama, gossip and all very much groups and who you know and how long you’ve been there. People are not friendly unless they need or want something from you and half the time you’re drowning in work because someone decided to leave or quit. The turnover is high and I assume it’s down to salary and the people itself. Granted there are a few nice people but it also means across 2 floors you’re dealing with people who think they’re so above basic human interaction or manners. The upper management aren’t nice whatsoever. The staff I encountered were miserable and just complained about working and the tasks/VB, the lack of an actual eating space. I absolutely hated my time here, the team I was in was difficult to say the least and one person ruined my whole experience and time. It’s very much based on who can “fit in” and just get on with it as opposed to actual skills and experience. When expressing to a manager about issues with a colleague it got met with me being told to deal with it or leave. This was in my second week. The weeks to come were met with me being constantly berated, belittled and spoken about like high school in an open space area. The work culture is extremely toxic, unless you want to go home with stress from people you work with and a job you end up hating, don’t bother. There is no help and I’m sure HR will comment about protecting mental health when HR is there to protect a company and not its workers. My time at VB was hostile, uncomfortable and met with horrible people who get paid to belittle people who actually want a life outside work or people who don’t automatically fit in to their group. I didn’t find anyone being nice or helpful or even wanting to try and train or actively teach. It was very much here is your role, teach yourself and good luck. I urge people not to take this job as the salary won’t match the mental health trauma you acquire.
