We are so thankful you took the time to share your thoughts. Vidyard is full of amazing humans so we’re not surprised to see you mention the fantastic teams and culture. You’re right, the macroeconomy has presented some really tricky conditions for sales teams. If you have additional feedback on training or support you could benefit from in the current climate, let your manager or the People Team know. We value your feedback and thank you for all you do for Vidyard. Vidyard People Team

Pros

Such an incredible environment built on trust and respect. It feels like the company has been through a lot of change recently but all for the better. The business is growing and there is a ton of opportunity for everyone, lots of investment going into the business to help with further growth. Some of the best and most capable people I have worked with and a lot of fun too!

Cons

Nothing so far everything has been brilliant!

Pros

1. Some of the people who work here are truly amazing, but with mass layoffs and exits, these are now dwindling, and top talent is not choosing to stick around 2. Work is meaningful and projects are great resume builders 3. The product is great 4. Flexible health benefits and RRSP matching

Cons

1. The leadership team lacks diversity and as a result ‘tech-bro’ culture has resurfaced since the senior leadership re-org 2. After enduring more than a year of constant quarterly layoffs, the company then laid off ~20% of the entire staff, weeks before the Christmas holidays, where the majority of these employees were completely blindsided 3. The company does not backfill roles and you will likely be doing the workload of 3-4 roles with the pressure of ever-increasing targets 4. The company conducted a “title standardization” where many roles were given a much-deserved promotion with no true recognition, or pay raise 5. The company is now rehiring for similar roles that had previously been laid off less than 6 months ago, due to "economic circumstances" 6. Strategic focus changes every quarter with last-minute communication
