In my opinion, micromanagement from senior leadership is rampant. We waste so much time now in meetings that no work is being done. We are losing top talent quickly and no retention is being done. Positions are not being backfilled. Promotions and raises are being denied address the board (unless you are in C Suite). Hidden metrics (“you didn’t work enough hours” or “you didn’t spend 4 days a week average in office”).
There’s barely any flexibility.
If VG really has the people they need, the grass is pretty dead on this side and needs to be taken care of.
