Cons
It’s a stretch to find a con per se, however if my arm was twisted, I would have to say that I would like to see our POS system made a little more user friendly. It is understandable that when working in ophthalmology, it is not possible to utilize a retail system that can complete an order speedily, however it can be a challenge for those who come from retail backgrounds and are used to the computer doing most of the work.

I love that I can just simply be an optician and help people choose the right frames and lenses for their prescription & lifestyle. I am a big people person and getting to build those relationships with new and returning customers everyday is really rewarding. I have THE BEST management team who 100% have my back and are there for anything I may ever need in my job or even personal life.
Cons
Working a Monday through Friday job has its downfall as does every other job. It just makes it a little more difficult when you have to take days off during the week to go to your own appointments. I would not give up having weekends off with my family though. Family time is very important to me.
