- This is a difficult company to navigate because of layers of history. The company had a successful past over 15 years ago, and it is still holding on to the possible good old days while trying to reinvent itself.
- The company is basically owned and run by a couple (CEO and CTO) which is probably the source of most of the problems. Both are not good motivators or leaders. The CEO is not transparent and likes to play games.
- For example, the company owns and conduct development with a large team of developers in China. This is done because of cost. However, the China company operates under a different name and there is no free transfer of knowledge or information between US and China. Strange.
- Work culture is inconsistent. The new employees are expected to work from the office yet many older employees work from home. It operates as if there are 2 cultures and 2 companies.
