Not what it seems

Pros

There are various social events such as once a month birthday lunches and a chance to get together for a tea break on Thursday afternoons for about 20 minutes. There is also a free breakfast Monday mornings.

Cons

The job titles and descriptions can be misleading, the job that was described to me in the interview is much different than what I actually did once employed. 99% of my job was making cold calls which they ensure you won't last long as you'll move swiftly up the corporate ladder, this proves to be untrue as when you are promoted to the next job you are basically still on the phone all day. They were inflexible when it came to employees taking time off or wanting to slightly modify their schedule. I also found their business practices dishonest and felt I wasn't able to be open with potential clients. Very low pay.

Lulled into a False Sense of Security

Pros

The biggest pro by far is that lasting friendships tend to be made in environments where there is a common struggle.

Cons

If you're taking the time to read these reviews, and you're considering working at this company, please acknowledge the commonalities repeatedly mentioned. Disgruntled former employees or not, there is substance and truth in the claims. I write this for the sole purpose of forewarning those who read the positive publicity across the web, and believe there is no more to the story. In this company no amount of intelligence, effort, compassion, drive, or even positive reinforcement will guarantee that you will succeed. Consider your choices wisely, and hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Thanks for your feedback. It's unfortunate that you feel so negatively towards the company. Every company has challenges, but these are balanced by amazing employees, supportive managers, and exciting growth and change. Banding together with friends to get through a common struggle is important, but so is celebrating the wins and recognizing the opportunities your workplace provides you with, like professional development, opportunities for growth, and rewarding incentives. We hope that you find a role that is both challenging and fulfilling.
