Pros
It was close to where I was living at the time. My manager was nice and treated me like a human.
Cons
They didn't grow as fast as I was hoping they would.
Advice to Management
Get acquired by a bigger player like Juniper.

The people are incredible and a real pleasure to work with. Very fun atmosphere that makes you want to go to work everyday.

Great to start at, has a culture that is very supportive of learning, and has a good work/life balance.
Cons
-Low compensation/benefits compared to area. -2-4 year plan/goal for Support employees tends to be a deadzone where you get stuck/or leave.
Advice to Management
Slow down on the reactive change, continue to plan for change but try not to look at that plan with rose-colored glasses then be surprised later at the results.

-The people at Watchguard are amazing, some of the best people I have worked with. -The Security industry is fantastic and Watchguard promotes learning more about the industry.

Benefits are very good. (pay is neutral) Work/life balance is great, don't have to take home work. Schedule is predictable and consistent. Lots of training opportunities. Lots of exposure to different and new networking technologies.
Cons
Slow upward mobility in technical support, especially once you do get to higher tiers.
Advice to Management
Don't be so concerned about metrics, work harder to retain current talent instead of hiring new.
