    Holidays, pension, lad of training, difficult to get holidays approved.

    New building built for purpose, good kit, well maintained

    Friendly colleagues that are helpful

    Cons

    Felt like part time staff weren't considered for new roles, benefits in pay negotiations the way that full time staff were.
    Not a great work/home life balance at that time

    Hourly wage and that's it nothing more

    Cons

    Pick rates very hard to achieve, no respect from managers, you are just the number, every day bullied for rates

    Don't force people to achieve rates which you manipulate in the system

    Good work enviroment, decent pay , long hours if you want , easy jobs .

    Cons

    Weekend work required , no better rates for weekend, bank holidays or overtime rate.

    Pallet Cages are a wreck, its not only the customer that needs to be happy!

    Some great people to work with

    No pay rises or structure to gain a raise, no incentives to push yourself, no leadership at management level, no information on major issues within Wincanton.

    Advice to Management

    The problems start at the top and can be resolved there, and work down to the teams on the Floor, only then will things improve.

    Pros

    The only pro is the pay is good

    Cons

    No work home life balance, Micro Managed, Management not interested in employee welfare. Big turn over of drivers. Agency drivers refusing to work at site. Not all employees treated the same.

    Advice to Management

    Need to start to listen to employees and take on board concerns and act on them. You need to give loyalty and empathy to get loyalty back.
