Was easy to get hired for tech support and various jobs that open up

With the introduction of hybrid working (most of the time from home) some team members took advantage of the trust-based oversight and it took a while for manager to realize we had some shirkers. (Which was annoying for me because it meant more work for the rest of the team and unhappy customers who were left on hold. About three months ago new systems introduced to measure output and the company acted pretty fast (ruthless?) to identify and "performance manage out" two perope on my team.
