Good place to work with some great people
Pros
Government Benefits Some amazing team members that really care about their work at the health system and the mission of bringing excellent care in a rural tribal health facility. Some of the executive leadership is amazing, they check on teams regularly, and want to be very progressive. Most people are willing to help if you reach out and ask for it.
Cons
Training is a problem because there is little to no time to actually accomplish it. 95% of the people in the facility really work hard every day and unfortunately the 5% that don't are tolerated and promoted. Frequently asked to do things outside of normal scope of work (not clinically mind you), just have a lot of things added on to the job that weren't in the original description. Raises are across the board. There is no incentive for people to go above and beyond, and the ones that do get the same raise as everyone else.
