Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have heard the feedback around transparency and our employees will have seen this in action in how company information is shared across departments. One example is the new format for the all-company updates which has increased transparency and the opportunity for Q&A. The feedback from our humans after our last company update was overwhelmingly positive. People gave us direct, constructive feedback, we listened and made changes. The uncertainty in the tech sector has been a challenging time for many organisations but we are making an effort to learn and improve, two-way dialogue is an important part of that process. Turnover happens at executive level just as it does in other parts of the business, it’s to be expected. Some of the executive team that have joined in the last year (President, CCO) have had made an enormous impact to our organisation and in the case of our recently appointed CHXO, an incredibly positive impact, in a short space of time. Pros

Great vibe/culture, company really looks after its staff. Almost has a start up feel about the place still even though its a mature company employing approx 400 people. Very friendly senior management. Being recognised and recognising colleagues for contribution and achievement is actively encouraged across the whole company.

Cons

Might be slightly over reliant on its recognition platform to help access the performance of an individual. For example some people are home-based and don't interact with colleagues as much as those who are office based, meaning they are less likely to be asked for help on something and therefore won't get recognised as much.

Pros

Pros – Great culture. Great people. Great leadership. Great product with very slick delivery. Amazing work/life balance. They live their values and walk their talk. I love that Globoforce are here on Glassdoor giving the world a behind-the-scenes look at why they are such a great company to work for. Their product works! Two of many personal experiences that come to mind, are: 1. The feeling whenever I received a recognition award through Globoforce's own in-house employee recognition programme always put me on cloud9 and made want to work even harder for the business, and it wasn't the reward so much as the feeling of being appreciated and the unexpected surprise of getting the recognition. It was like wow, you noticed that – thanks! 2. Over and above recognition the solution helps companies spot flight risks. The Global Head of Sales who is based on another continent from me, has little direct communication with me and has met me a mere handful of times noticed that I might have become a bit disengaged before I had even decided to move on. I was so impressed and we had a chat. It showed me on a experiential level how well the solution works. I still decided to move on but it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made and being so recently, I hope I have made the right decision. I really miss them and will always hold the business and people I worked with in high regard; what they do and how they do it in the recognition space is 2nd to none.

Cons

Cons - If you’re considering a job at Globoforce, it really is a great company to work for. The only con I can think of is, Field Marketing could better align its efforts with needs of the international part of the business i.e. outside the US. It sometimes felt like we were the poor relation. This is the only place I saw Globoforce drop the ball, and only a little. However, they are aware of this and it’s more a bandwidth issue than anything else. Someone dedicated to the outside US territory would work well.
