      C-suite is the most incompetent I have ever seen No accountability, very political and if you know somebody you got the job and or promotion Beware of speaking up and against senior leadership, you will experience retaliation Very little opportunities for promotion for people of color. I was actually discouraged from hiring ppl of color by the CTO. I was reprimand for not interviewing an white college referral. The DEI program is a joke, just words on paper. Developers stay clear unless you are straight out of boot camp and just want experience Customer support for the antiquated code base is non-existing Minority are use for their skills and knowledge and others are allow to take credit.

      Beware of the C-Suite

      Pros

      My team, immediate manager, and supervisor were incredible to work for. Tech stack is challenging (React, Java, Terraform on AWS). I resigned from this position due to lack of higher up leadership. Software Developers and Engineers beware.

      Cons

      The leadership in the C-Suite especially the CTO is incompetent. They are more worried about how they look vs implementing scalable solutions. The c-suite refuses to apply appropriate resources to very important projects and probably could not even understand what the issues within the current solutions are. Ad Hoc reactionary development environment due to no clear leadership at the higher levels (c-suite)

First, I am glad you had a great experience working with your immediate team members – I believe the people we are closely surrounded by certainly make the biggest difference in an employee experience. However, I’m very sorry to hear that you felt unsupported by senior leadership. As the CEO, it is a personal mission of mine to ensure our employees are feeling supported and given what they need to succeed in their roles. If this is not the case, I want to hear about it. Culture, resourcing, and our digital transformation continues to be a focus for us in this competitive environment. We strive to serve our clients and continue to develop our unique services and platform very quickly which requires us to be highly agile, and to adapt rapidly. We are constantly learning and improving. It’s a balancing act and we’re always going to try to do better. Please know that I appreciate that you were a part of our team, and for taking the time to share your insights with us. I will reflect on this information and wish you well in your future endeavors.

      Ok Company to work for

      Pros

      This is a good company for hands on learning. Since it is a small company, you get to wear multiple hats so you have the opportunity to learn a lot. You also get to work with some nice people

      Cons

      Since it is a small company, a lot of processes appear to be in flux and your job function could be varied. If you are someone that likes structure, this might not be the place for you. The benefits are pretty standard and pay is low. This is not a racially diverse company, specifically for black people. They are inclusive in the way that all companies are inclusive except when it comes to handling issues with minorities, especially black people. If you want a company that cares and can handle your safety as a black person in America don’t come here. They barely have any black people in leadership and they don’t promote clearly deserving black leads. The CTO is rude.
