I worked at Xaxis full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great leadership, a lot of opportunities to learn, flexible hours, nice office and a lot of social activities, if you work hard you get rewarded

    Cons

Sometimes things/projects can take a long time due to the size of the organisation - but this does not mean stuff doesn't get done etc.

I have been working at Xaxis full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits. Interesting dynamics, can move to other agencies or other parts of the business so lots of opportunity. Xaxis is not as big as its umbrella company so can sometimes have a nice team feel to it rather then feeling just a number. Innovative, up and coming.

    Cons

More males is senior leadership team but a strong focus on this to promote equality so they are looking at it

    Advice to Management

Be better at employee communication. Sometimes we get the same email twice from different senior leadership. Makes it feel like people aren’t talking and linking up.

I have been working at Xaxis full-time

    Pros

Part of WPP and can potentially go to another group or company though they make it difficult

    Cons

Under qualified executive team. Blame culture. Lack of clarity, direction and basic leadership skills from the top. No culture or values. No plan or vision around talent / HR is non existent despite the titles. Difficult to retain staff based on growing uncertainty and lack of a clear position within and outside the group.

    Advice to Management

Stop making promises you can't keep. Promote the right people for the job rather than using people as chess pieces or giving roles based on connections/buddy relationships rather than actual qualifications and results achieved. Try to inspire through leadership and replace current executives who do not perform, are not respected or liked throughout the company at all levels.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Some of the engineers I worked with there were talented and wanted to do good, it's just the bonehead management and shady business tactics that let everyone down

    Cons

Burn out culture, who works employees to death.
Very shady practices when dealing with third parties, refusing payment for work done.
Clueless management, including an analytics head who is incapable of even rudimentary math
High staff turnover and project flip-flopping because of poor project management

    Advice to Management

You have to get rid of your incompetent managers, they are driving away your talent and causing projects to be in firefighting mode all the time
