The Positive Reviews are Coerced by Leadership.

Pros

The CEO is a good guy, who just inherited a bad situation. Operation's leadership is strong and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

- First, to address the positive reviews on here. I can 100% assure you they are coerced by upper management to help improve the appeal of the company in order to aid the (abysmal) recruiting process. Anyone with even basic deduction skills can probably pick up on the pattern of the positive reviews; they all occur in a similar time frame..... - Next, the company is in trouble and for good reason. They are only alive by the grace of a capital venture firm. They've been consistently hemorrhaging money and have no hope for the future. The current survival of the business is predicated on a few legacy accounts, which are dwindling down. The very vertical this company specializes in (PCs, laptops, servers) is a dying market. The company has made no attempt to start selling 21st century technology, rather simply focusing on poorly refurbished Lenovo and IBM products, using legally questionable techniques to do so at that. - The culture. Its absolutely horrific. In defense of current leadership, they weren't the ones who created the horrific dynamic; although a few of them certainly continue to fuel it....Keeping things short, prior leadership fostered an environment that created THE MOST entitled sales people you will ever meet. To make matters worse, these "entitled few" are consistently poor performers. The only reason the company keeps them on, is because they don't have enough insight to their accounts/relationships and are afraid to lose what little contributions they make. This situation makes these "entitled few" essentially untouchable; giving them free reign to act more entitled than the mink coat wearing lady in the Whole Foods 12 items or less lane with 3 carts full of various caviar.

Thank you for your feedback. The Company always values constructive and thoughtful insight although sometimes we believe the negative reviews posted on here are likely not authentic, or accurately posting their relationship to the company. The real test of a company’s employee base is in its employee turnover and we are very happy to report the company’s turnover is incredibly low. While every company has areas it can improve upon, our flexible work schedules, company events, competitive pay plans and superior benefit packages all help to create positive energy and a team-oriented environment. We are proud of the contributions of all current or former XTG employees and the camaraderie of the teamwork here. XTG’s 200 global employees are really the backbone of its continued success and rapid growth—specifically over the last two years—and moving forward. Sincerely, XTG Management
