      Formally culturally amazing, but being wrung out, corporatized and made sterile by inept and ineffective MSFT nannying

      Pros

      Been here over 2 years, seen some amazing stuff, worked with truly ridiculously talented people, incredible culture, crazy perks... but...

      Cons

      Since the acquisition, we were promised that things wouldn't change - and for about 6 months or so, that was true, but not now. It's nothing like the place it was. Very sad. Many of the very best, most talented people are bailing out like rats leaving a sinking ship. The culture that many praise is being wiped out wholesale by Microsoft.

      - Use of Yammer for work - Highly talented people to work with - Non-hierarchial structure, anyone can contribute - Ever evolving processes and practices - Fantastic and supportive management

      Cons

      - Working across geographic borders - Some process improvement projects are not assigned time - Valuable features are not given development time as concentrating on new users rather than power users.

      Pros

      A place for a self starter to thrive. If you are ambitious and tenacious, you can do very well here as there is a lot of freedom to get the job done

      Cons

      I literally have no major issues with this company. If I have to provide something then, let management be more transparent and keep us in the loop more often and earlier.
