    Transparency Autonomy Managers care about the people in their team

    Cons

    Not being US based means you are a contractor and don't get the same benefits as those in the US

    Pros

    You get to work with some of the best people in the world Everyone is so nice and caring The benefits and culture are awesome You're able to properly take time off for holidays, when you're not feeling well, etc. and nobody views you as an "inconvenience".

    Cons

    We're growing so fast, it can be hard to know who does what, and keep track of new people joining

    - A plethora of career growth and development opportunities - Flexible work hours - Managers that care for you - A values model that truly takes care of the employee and customer

    - It can be really hard for people to adjust to 100% remote work

    I have been working at Zapier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    While Zapier comes with a variety of benefits, the best part of it is its people. Zapier has really nailed hiring the smartest, coolest, most fun and empathetic people in the world. Easily the best place I have yet worked at, or know of and I imagine myself hanging around for the rest of my career.

    Cons

    Spots are limited and the interview process can be tough. Of course, this is to make sure we hire the right people.

    Pros

    + A culture of kindness and empathy + A clear set of ranked company priorities that we all work toward + Progressive approach to people leadership, appreciation of diversity, career support, and personal growth – especially for the size of the company + Opportunities to meaningfully get to know all teammates (retreats, Donut, public Slack channels) and leaders (during onboarding, weekly hangouts) means I never feel alone + The most transparent company I've ever worked for. We manage to communicate clearly *and* with humanity in everything we do.

    Cons

    The logo's color isn't great? (That's a joke). This question is challenging to answer – I have to pinch myself every day to remind myself I've actually landed in this successful company of kindhearted people. Everyone's nice here. If you're not, this isn't your place.

    - Folks here truly embody the values and are some of the most talented yet empathetic and kind people I have met. - The executive team is amazing. The level of transparency everyone in the company has had during COVID-19 with daily exec updates is extremely helpful during a period with a lot of uncertainty in other parts of life for many of us. - There is no shortage of opportunity and career growth.

    I have been working at Zapier full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Challenging work. Freedom to tackle projects in the way I want to tackle them. People here are just awesome. We really live by our "Empathy, No Ego" value. Transparency. We're in a really uncertain time right now, and leadership has been really good at giving us all the info they can - financials, decisions at the exec level. It gives a sense of a little more stability in an otherwise unstable world.

    Cons

    Remote work can get lonely. But we're in covid-19 right now anyway, so we might as well be working at a place who knows how to do remote work well :) As Zapier gets bigger, decisions tend to slow down. It's still a really fast-moving, high energy work environment - but it's definitely noticeable in the time I've been here. We're definitely not a startup anymore.

    Pros

    - Founders are thoughtful, easy to talk to and communicate to us often about what we should be focused on - People are generally nice, helpful, and know what they're doing - Get to work with a team from different states, countries, etc. - We go to 3 retreats a year and they're something I look forward to - everyone gives feedback often whether or not you want to hear it. I think this is good especially when you don't get a chance to see people in an office

    Cons

    - Wish there was a way to connect with people more often. You can join a weekly call where you're talking to a random teammate but I wish we could do this multiple times a week - Confusing travel policies during retreats that are always changing
