Pros

There are no pros to speak of. The company is going under quick. They buy their employees with free beer and ski trips, but there's nothing but favoritism and lies under the surface.

Cons

This is the worst company I've ever worked for. They will lie and tell you how much opportunity is available, but fail to mention that it is only based on whose butt you kiss and how much you're willing to work overtime without being paid. The management team is disorganized, unprofessional and pick and choose who they like. The company is corrupt and will punish you for having a brain of your own. Do yourself a favor and find one of the hundreds of other Denver start ups that is actually going somewhere. This place is riding on the coattails of bigger and better competitors.

Pros

Like everyone else has said, if you are personal friends with management you get perks. They pack up and go have fun while the developers and support are ALWAYS WORKING. If its your first job, the try them...work for six months get some xp and then find a new gig.

Cons

Management VS developers. Customer complaints are all over the internet, no one cares. DEVS: There us nothing worse than getting micromanaged by someone who doesn't know what CSS is. Beware of the lack of technical knowledge in the organization, it makes for a lengthy change process and lots of technical debt; be prepared to fix/patch ancient code from years of bad development. Not all the technical team is bad, they try really hard but the massive management overhead sinks them over and over.

What a disappointment

Pros

I thought they were an okay company until recently.

Cons

After working at Zen Planner and having moved on, I mostly thought it was an okay place. But after seeing what a friend of mine went through I have to say I am very disappointed. It's a place where you have to put in a lot of hard work and the compensation isn't great. My friend believed in them and their values and was committed to the company. He thought he was going to be able to build a career with them because all he heard from management was positive. He was let go due to "performance issues," but essentially he was fired because they thought he wrote a negative review on this site. After the company saw that review, they basically went on a witch hunt to get rid of that employee. Although my friend can be vocal, he truly believed in this company and giving a negative review on this site is not something he would have ever done. He always tried to deal with issues in a positive way. After never hearing anything but positive feedback during his employment, within two weeks of that review, my friend was let go. During the exit interview he was told that he was being fired for doing something that many other employees also did, but he was told that they were only concerned with him.
