Pros

The founders of Zennify are very passionate about the business, culture, and focused on growth with no thought of selling the company. There is massive growth potential and career defining opportunity to be consumed.

Cons

Currently in a growth trend and hiring many new resources. With this always comes growing pains. I do feel the culture is carrying on but, it will take time for all the new faces to mix into it.

Pros

Full remote work environment and ability to work alongside talented front line employees. Work/Life balance is solid and mostly respected. Zennify is a solid place to start your consulting career before finding a more mature organization.

Cons

Toxic and deceitful management. Heavy drinking & partying C-Suite wants to be "liked" rather than to lead. CEO office hours are basically internal marketing sessions to convince employees how "good" Zennify is or to be "patient" while they continue making the same poor decisions. Accountability is one way - downward. Feedback is readily given to front line employees, but any upward feedback to management thank isn't "You're Great!" gets a defensive response or worse. Management is known for making promises and not keeping their word. Also, if you are a POC, beware. Their DEI initiative is functionally a marketing initiative. They will happily host a Zoom panel to show diverse faces of employees, but the Equity and Inclusion ends when the Zoom meeting ends. The CEO declares, "We need to do better at retaining Black talent," but there is little to no follow through. It's all platitudes. Overall, Zennify is not a meritocracy. There are incredibly talented employees on the front lines who are very skilled, but they are overseen by management who are in over their heads. It is obvious the company was built by individuals who were very talented at building Salesforce, not building businesses. Nepotism and favoritism exist. Layoffs affected competent front-line staff but somehow, management that created the financial mess and poor culture that had significant churn before the layoffs kept their jobs. When they say they are a "People First" company, they actually mean "Their People First"

Zennify Response

This is tough feedback to receive and we are sorry that this was your experience. We want feedback to be constructive, future-focused, and actionable. We also want feedback to move in all directions. We recognize that not all employees are comfortable providing feedback to the Leadership team or C-Suite. To help overcome that barrier have Zennbox for anonymous comments, a Professional Services Management team who will surface concerns on your behalf, and a Human Resource team who will investigate claims of inappropriate behavior and/or harassment. DEI is an active initiative at Zennify. We do love sharing and celebrating the stories and experiences of our employees. These stories can be educational, and inspirational and frequently increase the empathy and understanding of cultures and experiences different than our own. Our company has employees in every protected EEO category and our leadership team is diverse in ethnicity, gender, and religious beliefs. Diversity awareness starts in our talent acquisition process, interview training, and onboarding and we are proud of our inclusive culture. We also recognize that the work of DEI is never completed and that effort is required to ensure appreciation of our differences continues. We recognize that you have moved on, but I sincerely hope you will consider reaching out to hr@zennify.com to share more specific examples of what has caused you to feel this way about your interactions with leadership and with Zennify.

Pros

- The support to grow on projects that are internal and external. - Team members develop together with communication and follow through. - There is a company understanding that your development matters and they own it with you.

Cons

- Many companies are facing quick growth and Zennify is one of them. It is important to deal with ambiguity. - This is consulting work and understanding what that is in the tech sector is important to learn and ask during interviews.
