SCAMMING SENIORS

Pros

absolutely none this place will destroy your dignity

Cons

where do i start - your daily job is making unsolicited calls nonstop to the same people, some seniors get called 10 times a day ! The leads just keep getting passed around and everyone is dialing the same people who never made an "inquiry about medicare options" If someone hangs up on you and says they aren't interested, that lead just gets thrown back into the lead pool and someone else tries them a few hours later. total harrassment!!!!!!! If you dispositionthe lead as not interested, it will still get thrown back into the lead pool and dialed mercilessly again within a few days. Do no t call list does not exist here becdause those leads get thrown back into the pool too after abotu a month. A lead will be duplicated by upper management so the next sucker calling the lead won't be able to see the call history from previous agents. Everyone is only a number here, and this company is a relvolving door of soullessness. you are also expected to work almost every saturday during the off season, and they tell you weekends are optional in your interview. they also lied about how many calls you'd be taking a day. I was told about 30 calls and a mix of inbound and outbound....hte reality is well over 100 calls all day 99% outbound calls of leads who were already dialed 8 times that same day by other agents. This is the epitome of a cold-calling telemarketing call center. Coldcalling is illegal under Medicare compliance, not sure how this disaster of a place has gotten around that for this long

Just Don't

Pros

Work from home Ok benefits except the PTO Coworkers and Team Leads

Cons

Zero stars. Do not believe the recruiters or whomever you interview with. They will talk about the great culture, helping Medicare beneficiaries, great training, generous comp plan....wrong. It was a terrible experience and more turnover than I've seen at any other company. They have many ways they will chip away at your commissions if you get credit for your sales at all. THE WORST leads if you can even call them leads. Didn't even advertise last AEP so it was a lot of the same garbage calls transferred from affiliates who weren't required to qualify the leads. Or someone who thought they were calling Medicaid, Medicare or even the Home Depot or something. And this was when the phone even rang. I couldn't believe how slow AEP was last year. Usually weekend overtime is available if not required during AEP. At this place a Vice President was in the system on the first Sunday to tell anyone who logged in to clock back out because there would be no calls. Layoffs are always around the corner. They'd rather get rid of you than pay residuals or let you use your PTO any time other than the mandatory week off over the holidays (have to use your PTO or take leave without pay). And when they fire you, they don't pay you for any unused leave or release your appointments before 90 days! It's just mean to fire you and then not allow you to work elsewhere. I could go on and on but just do yourself a huge favor and keep looking. This is the bottom of the barrel.
