Pros

The people are mostly great - and office generally has a nice atmosphere Always got a yearly pay rise.

Cons

They seem to make redundancies every two to three years so no job security . Happened twice while I worked there and also before I started. The software is mostly using legacy technology and generates lots of bugs. Lack of benefits. Poor and old equipment. Below average salary. Limited path for progression.

Pros

Communication is extremely good. All teams are now settled and everybody gets along together. The board seem to be going in the right direction. Benefits are getting better every year with the introduction of a bonus scheme, pensions etc. Career progression is good for a small to medium sized company. Things are looking very positive for the future.

Cons

Company went through a rough patch previously with the previous managing director not putting any effort into the company. Fortunately he has now moved on and things are looking very positive. Dress down days are only on Friday's - small thing but would be nice to get this changed.

Pros

The people at eSight are fantastic. A great social/work mix so you really get to know the people you work with, and end up with much closer working relationships. eSight always offers a challenging work environment, so I have never been bored. There are a number of options within each department as to specialized areas you can work on - meaning you can get involved with different things to keep each day fresh. The CEO and board of execs are extremely hands-on, and as such, very accessible. I feel like each team and department is managed really well and everybody has a mentality to help each other out. Which is great to see. Regarding the package in general - holiday time is pretty competitive, benefits and bonuses are on or above par and management is pretty understanding/flexible with regards to personal needs. I can't complain.

Cons

Nothing major that I can think of.
