Pros
Excellent opportunities to present and argue for improvements in analysis across the business. I have enjoyed progression in terms of skills and salary, there is a culture that very much facilitates and values improvement. Company feels truly lead by research and data, no issues with "ivory tower" data science.
Cons
Can tend to be on the more intense side, problems are interesting but do generally require more time/effort than just standard DS pipelines (pro and con here depending on personal preference). Being trusted to manage your own time can lead to overwork in some departments and dependant on your own capacity to ensure a good life/work balance.

Being a competitive employer is a priority, which is why we really value your feedback. It depends on your role as to how your compensation package is set up, some roles do have a bonus element and with others, the package may be structured differently. Cons
-Many yearly/quarterly IT and compliance other Team trainings become long and arduous between daily tasks but but necessary to keep systems in check -Building or aligning roadmap across teams and stakeholders is tricky as everyone is pushing for the same goal in different levels and intensities. It's a matter of understanding what everyone wants and needs to build together.

Pros
Great place to learn a lot about SME credit analysis. They entrust their credit analysts with a lot of underwriting responsibility. If you want to succeed there are many opportunities to grow if you are a self starter, both sideways and upwards. It's a good place to work if you are not ambitious as well. The work life balance is great. The role doesn't require people to work after hours. Working with smart people. Management is understanding. Quick salary progression during the first year.
Cons
There can be a lot of process changes when they are tinkering with their systems. Work can get monotonous if you are not engaged with the role and opportunities available within the company.

Pros
Great atmosphere, one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to know.
Cons
Starting in summer time is not the greatest time, majority of people are vacationing so you don't have the opportunity to meet everyone at first

Pros
I am a big fan of iwoca. The culture is great, with lots of social things going on. Other perks like the summer/winter house, food in the office, table tennis and ping pong add to the welcoming environment. The office is a fun place to be and well located. You are the creator of your own destiny and are allowed to pursue projects you think are important. There is a big focus on data and statistics. Feedback is frequently given and received which creates an open culture and allows for growth. Fair compensation and quarterly pay reviews.
Cons
There is no sign of a long-term strategy filtered down from management and little discussion of our actual customers which does make the work seem somewhat lacking a goal at times. Very remote-heavy for certain teams which may be a con for some people.
iwoca Response6mo
Thank you so much for your feedback. Your positive comments about our culture, social activities, and perks mean a lot to us. We also appreciate your comments regarding the need for visible long term strategy and a deeper discussion of our customers. We are continuously working on improving our communication and alignment across all levels at iwoca, your input helps us identify areas where we can do even better. While remote work offers flexibility and convenience, we recognize that some people thrive in more in-person collaborative environments and will pass on your feedback. - The People Team
