We have seen a significant increase in scams within the recruitment industry, based around the offer of fraudulent job roles, where fraudsters are impersonating recruitment companies or consultants, including the use of the Adecco name. We are therefore making every possible effort to spread awareness of the tactics that are employed, and to protect our candidates and people from scams. We are mainly aware of people being contacted via WhatsApp, however this may extend to other social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook, plus directly via email. Warning signs of potential scams include request to provide personal financial details, paying fees upfront, suspicious profile pictures and non-UK phone numbers. You can find more information on the warning signs, increase your awareness on job scams and find practical tips through an article linked in this post. If you suspect, encountered or have been a victim of any scams of this nature in relation to Adecco, or any other brand within The Adecco Group, we'd highly recommend reporting this to us via our Live Chat service at the following link, and our Customer Experience team will be in touch: https://www.adecco.co.uk/contact-us
