Awaze has been shortlisted for the Women in Tech Employer Awards 2025 in three categories. We’re delighted to share that we’ve been nominated for the Best Employer Network, Best Initiative of the Year, and Outstanding Woman in Tech – Lucy Auckland. Huge congratulations to Lucy Auckland, Product Director – Awaze Platform & Services, who has been shortlisted for an individual award. Lucy’s leadership and drive has been instrumental in shaping our initiatives and reflects the impact she’s made both within our organisation and beyond. Over the past two years, growing our Women in Tech network has been a strategic priority at Awaze. From school visits and public speaking to charity partnerships, internships, and lunch & learns, we’ve been working hard to empower the next generation of women in tech and strengthen our Women in Tech community Awaze. The Women in Tech Employer Awards celebrates employers and individuals closing the gender gap in Tech. The awards will take place on Tuesday 11 November 2025, at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.

We’re pleased to announce that Matthew Price has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Awaze. Matthew has served as our Interim CEO since January, and now officially steps into the role after a successful six-month transition period. As our former Group CFO, Matthew brings both deep operational knowledge and a clear vision for the future of Awaze. Recently, our Engineering Manager, Paul Brickles, hired a new team to take on one of Awaze’s biggest tech challenges yet: building brand-new guest apps for Hoseasons, cottages.com, and Novasol. Wow—what a day! Our 2025 #Product&TechFestival has officially wrapped, and it was nothing short of exceptional. A day built around our bold theme of "Inspire & Disrupt", it brought together teams from across Awaze—and beyond—for a powerful showcase of collaboration, innovation, and fresh thinking. Disruption was more than a theme; it was a mindset. From challenging the status quo to reimagining what’s possible, the day sparked bold conversations that will fuel us for the year ahead. A huge thank you to #JessHall from #JustEat for her standout keynote on Curious Disruption—a talk that truly set the tone for the day. And of course, a massive shout out to the hero organisers behind the scenes—your hard work made this a day to remember. 🙌
They did it! 🏅🏃♀️ Last weekend, six incredible members of Team Awaze — Charlie, Liam, Haseeb, Kelsey, Sachin, and Mo — laced up their running shoes and took on the Manchester Marathon. Their mission? To 'Do Something Awazing' in support of our chosen UK charity for this year: Family Holiday Charity. Family Holiday Charity helps families get time away together, often for the first time ever. For children who've never seen the sea, teenagers who can't remember when they last saw mum smile, parents having to choose between a day out and a pair of school shoes, young carers, and families facing illness, isolation, or bereavement. Holidays open up new possibilities. Time spent together helps build relationships, confidence and hope for the future. We're incredibly proud of our colleagues for going the extra mile (literally!) to support such a meaningful cause and raise £1000 for Family Holiday Charity! Vi Cyckler Til Arbjde is an annual, month-long event held in Denmark each May to spread the joy of cycling and to make a difference to the environment 🚲 This year, 29 of our team members took part, cycling a total of 318 days and 6399km! By cycling rather than driving, the team have saved 836.85kg of CO2 and resulted in a socio-economic gain of 45.495,89 DKK! This is an awazing effort from our team, who surpassed last year's distance by 3195.76km! Last week, we held an awards ceremony at our office in Virum, Copenhagen, where some of our team were recognised with awards for distance, most days cycled and some fun prizes too, such as an award for the most unfortunate biker! We're already looking forward to seeing what the team achieve next year 💚
