Under a $239 million task order from the US Army, #TeamCACI will help improve the performance, efficiency, and security of the Global Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) Network (GSN). Our transformative approach to network modernization and commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) technology will enable the Army to outpace the growing demand for data insights and allow users to work on classified networks from any location.
CACI’s Optics and Photonics team provided the optical communications technology onboard NASA’s Psyche spacecraft, which is heading toward the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter to study the Psyche asteroid. Using our industry-leading technology, NASA successfully transmitted a 15-second video featuring a lively cat back to earth from nearly 19 million miles away. We are thrilled to have contributed to this memorable NASA experiment; it was the first ultra-high-definition video streamed from deep space via a laser.
