Friday 20th July was our Gibraltar summer party. More than 450 colleagues from both LCG and GVC attended. Set in a fantastic venue on the beach, we were all able to get together, dance, have fun and celebrate everyone's success so far!

A team of employees from our London office recently played a charity football match in order to raise funds for the ‘Fulham Charity Foundation’. We caught up with Bernardo Liberatore, Italian Marketing Manager to find out why he wanted to be involved for this particular charity… "The Fulham Charity Foundation helps the most vulnerable members of the community. I chose this particular charity because I liked the idea of helping people through sport".

Helping our local communities is a main part of our Pro Bono initiative, with volunteers from our London office regularly supporting ‘Stepney Farm’, a small working farm run mainly by volunteers just a few minutes from Stepney Green train station. The farm gives the community a real sense of togetherness and our employees recently helped with a variety of tasks from painting to feeding the animals.
Every Wednesday our GVC employees open up our meeting room on the seventh floor in Vienna for our very popular Yoga sessions. While enjoying the great view people can let their Zen flow. Have a look!
Attracting, retaining and developing talent are among the top priorities for our recruiters at GVC. A fantastic example of this is Uma. She started as a Senior Executive in Facilities and in no time was promoted to Assistant Manager. After working in this position for 10 years, she was looking for a change. Uma took courses in Technology, went through an assessment and has been promoted to become the Game Factory Team Lead. Hard work pays off #GVC_Life
Why is GVC such a great place to work? GVC’s Head of HR, Sarah Blois has been working for our company for a whopping 13 years now! Team building, fierce competition and a lot of fun was had by our WE Sports and Casino teams as they battled it out on the water with Team WE taking home the two trophies for best speed.
We caught up with Alessandro Stillo, our VIP team lead in Italy. He was able to give us an inside look at what it’s like to work in the VIP Team. And what a fantastic job it is! Last Sunday they took four of our loyal VIP players to the Italian Cup Final. “These players have been playing with us for a while now, we do our absolute best to provide them with an experience that is customised to them.” The team in Italy have created great relationships with our customers and we think it’s working as they have seen an uplift in VIP players for Gioco Digitale. Well done VIP Italy!
