It felt good to stay connected with the teammates during the lockdown and support a good cause together. Milda Gečienė, Etex Vilnius, Lithuania During the lockdown, it was very important to stay connected with the Teammates. Together we participated in the nationwide campaign "Let's do it" . We collected rubbish near our Etex Vilnius office, in the Oz hills. We respected the quarantine rules as well as fighted the uncertainty feeling inside. This story is special because it was one of those rare occasions when we actually met in person, as most of us had been working from home for almost a year. Together with our childrem we supported a great cause. We collected rubish in the area and few hours later we had massive bags full of garbage. I am extremely proud that our Teammates care about the environment and each other. #TeammateStories #TeammatesOfEtex #UnitedToInspire #InspiringWaysOfLiving

It feels good to feel that management trusts us, Teammates, fully to telework and connect with each other, Julien Soulhat, Etex Avignon, France During the COVID-19 lockdowns and even today, I feel and appreciate the trust from management in allowing us to telework. The new way of working and communicating was quite a challenge at the start of the pandemic. However, I think we have all coped with the new situation very successfully. Not only because of all Teammates’ professionalism and desire to stay connected and maintain social contact but also because we have a computer system that is very well suited to teleworking and which we had been trained on months before. When I talk to friends who work for other companies the same size as Etex, or even larger, they sometimes found teleworking quite traumatic due to a lack of confidence and their inability to adapt. That makes me realise that I work for a very flexible and modern company! #TeammateStories #TeammatesOfEtex #UnitedToInspire #InspiringWaysOfLiving

At Etex, we are committed to the idea that caring for one another and forming meaningful connections are the primary drivers of a sustainable future. Take the story of Martín Camilo Rojas Martinez from Etex Colombia. 18 years ago, he had a workplace accident and was out for several months. When he returned, he was happy to see the company had implemented additional safety measures to prevent future incidents. When we connect with each other, we can learn a lot from one another. Olivia Louis, Cariste Expedition, Etex Saint -Loubès As part of my onboarding as a replacement planner, I had the opportunity to visit other Etex factories, where I picked up some ideas to implement at my workplace. One issue involved the adhesive used for the linings in plasterboard production. Operators struggled with large blocks of glue that stuck to their gloves and came with excessive packaging. I noticed that another factory used small, easy-to-use glue pellets similar to laundry detergent pods and realised we needed to make a change. We began by testing on a small scale and, seeing its success, switched completely to the new glue. A nearby factory also loved the concept and adopted it. This solution not only improved operator comfort but also had a positive environmental impact and even proved more cost-effective than the previous adhesive. #TeammateStories #TeammatesOfEtex #UnitedToInspire #InspiringWaysOfLiving
Putting the customer first is a win-win situation. Julian Tizianel, Technical Assistance Director, Etex Avignon, France By investing time in finding out how one of our customers installs partition walls under the roof of a house, I was able to develop an innovative and constructive way to make the installation job considerably easier and more efficient. Instead of installing a separative wall first up to the roof and then mounting the ceiling, they can now build the ceiling first under the roof and then mount the partitions below. In this way, the installation time is considerably shorter. Thanks to this technical support, we were not only able to retain the customer, but we were also able to increase our profit margin. #TeammateStories #TeammatesOfEtex #UnitedToInspire #InspiringWaysOfLiving
