Some of our employees battled the wet English Summer and took part in the world class obstacle course and mud run, Tough Mudder UK! The team did this to raise money for one of our charity partners Emmaus UK and managed to raise nearly £1300 to support the charity whose aim is to end homelessness! Well done to all who took part! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
For the first time ever we’re taking in part in the Leeds Pride Parade on the 6th August! The event starts at 12pm and the parade leaves Millennium Square at 2pm, so make sure to be there on time to show your support for the fantastic LGBTQ+ community. 🏳️🌈💙
Congratulations to Julius Gordon who is one of the latest success stories of our Driving Academy! Julius completed his CAT C course at our Normanton Training Centre and is now a fully qualified CAT C driver! Well done, Julius! 👏💙
Dr Ben Spencer, MP for Runnymede and Weybridge, visited our Brooklands depot to have a tour around our facility. Dr. Spencer was told about our sustainability initiatives and how Brooklands was our chosen depot to trial our new sustainable delivery methods such as hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) and hydrogen. He said: “It was great to visit the Evri depot at Brooklands and hear about the encouraging sustainable fuel initiatives being trialled exclusively at the local site. Our logistics industry is vital to our local and national economy."
We’ve partnered with period poverty charity Bloody Good Period! We’ll be using our network over the next 12 months to provide free delivery of period supplies to refugees, asylum-seekers, and those that cannot afford to access them across England and Wales. The charity provides supplies to those that need them most and looks to educate and remove the stigma around periods, menstruation, and menopause. We’re proud to be able to offer our service to help those that need it. 💙

We’ve been nominated for the ‘Sustainable Transport Award’ and the ‘Urban Operator of the Year Award’ after fantastic work across the business has seen us transform over the past year. It’s World Environment Day! We recognise the importance of reducing our impact on the planet and that’s why we have committed to investing in this area and helping the environment. For Pride, we’ve partnered with Yorkshire-based LGBTQ+ charity Out Together LGBT. As part of this, we'll be raising money for the charity throughout the month to help them achieve their goals. Out Together unites LGBTQ+ generations in Yorkshire creating a diverse, vibrant, and enduring community that helps to overcome the social and cultural barriers in society. They aim to create an inclusive community for older LGBTQ+ members, holding special events for the community and keeping everyone connected. 🏳️🌈💙
We’re proud to announce that after a very successful trial, we’ve become an accredited Seller Fulfilled Prime carrier. This will enable us to deliver Prime parcels for merchants on the Amazon website and gives us access to delivering several million extra next day parcels per year. During our trial with Amazon Prime, we met and exceeded all the requirements by delivering high quality service and a 97.5% delivery success rate! We look forward to working with Prime as we continue to transform our business. 📦💙
Giving back to the community and helping students to kick start their careers in logistics is incredibly important to us. That’s why we’re delighted to announce that we’ve collaborated with Barnsley College to launch our Evri Academy which will offer apprenticeships and training to local students across a number of different disciplines. Our new Academy will look to give people the practical experience they need to have a successful career within the logistics sector! 👷♀️👷♂️
