Fostering an environment of continuous improvement, our Guadalajara site in Jalisco, Mexico, has announced the opening of a new learning center that will enable 2,000+ employees annually to build #advancedmanufacturing skills and support the expansion of automotive operations in the region. "Our new learning center in Guadalajara will support the growth of our skilled employees and expand our advanced manufacturing excellence, enabling automotive customers to accelerate innovation, advance their electric vehicle roadmaps, and enable a path toward an autonomous future,” said Federico Peñaloza, Vice President, Automotive Operations Guadalajara.

Flex’s new Global Business Services (GBS) facility in Coimbatore officially opens its door! “Our GBS teams will provide continued focus on enhancing and optimizing our end-to-end processes, providing actionable insights to our 100+ sites across the globe, including business leaders”, said Balroop Grewal, Senior Vice President Operations at Flex. Also commenting on the launch of the new facility, Ashutosh Arora, Vice President & General Manager at Flex GBS India said, “We are very pleased with the expansion of Flex GBS’ footprint in India. Coimbatore provides the right building blocks- skilled talent pool, excellent support from the government and good infrastructure." This will be Flex’s third GBS center in India that will complement its existing GBS facilities in Chennai and Pune.
“A critical aspect of Flex sustainability is giving back to the communities where we work and live,” said Tang Eng Chok, General Manager, Flex. Flex believes in making STEM education equitable and accessible to all interested students. As a firm supporter of this vision, Flex Penang has been lending a hand in many Penang STEM programs, Penang Math Platform (PMP), and Tech Dome Penang since 2019, sponsoring more than 14,800 students, teachers, and working adults. Today, Flex Penang is contributing RM93,000 which will benefit 35 schools and more than 1,100 individuals from diverse age groups. The aim is to hone students’ abilities and impart them with important skills and knowledge surrounding Excel, 3D and graphics design, and Olympiad memorization. Gracing the check hand-over ceremony was YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang, YB Prof Dr. Ramasamy, Deputy Chief Minister II and Penang STEM Chairman, and esteemed VIPs from PMP and Penang STEM.
