Last week, we were pleased to host our Capital Markets Day at our Petersmiths Park development in Nottinghamshire. The theme of the day was “putting in place the foundations for future growth”, with management outlining plans to scale the business and deliver on its growth potential. Alongside this, we have also released our year-end trading update, reporting 1,723 completions at an average selling price of £186,000. Results for the year are expected to be in-line with expectations. This week is Mental Health Awareness week, a week that gives opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health and how we can help others with their mental health. At Gleeson we are proud encourage open conversations about mental health, continuing to raise awareness and remove stigma. One in four people struggle with their mental health so no one is alone with what they may be going through. To help colleagues we have our Employee Assistance Programme, which offers 24 hour support, is completely free, confidential and available for all Gleeson employees. We have trained 25 Mental Health First Aiders, with more colleagues due to be trained this year and we have lots of support services and contact details on our Wellbeing Toolkit, providing guidance, support and signposting.
