NEW HIRE – With the end of 2018 slowly approaching there’s no slowing down for HSG. We welcome another new hire, Lars Sunnell who will be joining our New York office. That’s our 8th new hire in the last quarter! Lars has joined HSG to further develop the IT and FinTech practices for our US markets and to work closely with the London office Technology practice. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Economics & Sustainable Community Development Methods, prior to joining HSG Lars began his Sales career in 2015 at Yelp quickly becoming a Senior National Account Executive before then joining Robert Half Inc. to spearhead direct-hire searches within their Legal & Compliance team. We are very excited to have Lars on the ground in the US, working closely with the UK practice to further extend our presence in this region.

HSG SEMINAR - This morning we hosted the ‘Challenge of Developing Risk & Governance Frameworks with SIMR’s – The Regulators Experience’ with guest speakers Nick Dexter and Jennie Cade from the PRA. Thank you to the Association of Financial Mutuals and members for attending and contributing in the seminar. The experiences from both sides was particularly insightful, relevant and helped demystify urban myths. NEW VERMONT OFFICE – This week we have opened our new office in Stowe, Vermont. This is now our fifth office in the States! Very exciting times ahead for HSG coming into the new year. US Wealth Management CEO, Antony Pitt comments ‘I am hugely excited to be able to announce that we have opened our third location for the HSG US Wealth Management business in Stowe, Vermont. The office will be run by Managing Partner, John Chudzik. John has been a resident of the area for many years and along with new Associate, Mark Spyrzynski they will be servicing the entire East Coast of the United States for our clients. We aim to grow the team by another two people very quickly. I want to wish John and his team all the very best for this new location.'
NEW HIRE – Following an extremely busy 2018 and continuing with our growth plans, this month Jane Mckechnie has joined our London office as a Senior Consultant. Jane has over 20 years’ experience recruiting compliance professionals across a changing regulatory landscape that has moved from PIA, IMRO, SFA, FSA to the current FCA and PRA. She worked for Hanover some years ago, before setting up Mackenzie Scott Compliance Recruitment in 2002. Jane has now re-joined Hanover to grow the compliance division further. She brings a diverse network of contacts across a broad range of sectors including Retail, Commercial and Investment Banking, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Hedge Funds, Intermediaries, Brokerage firms, Insurance and Regulatory Consulting. Roles covered include CF10 & CF11, Advisory, Monitoring, Regulatory Change, Conduct Risk and Financial Crime.
