📢 HIF Global has chosen JM's CO2-to-methanol technology for its first US sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF) facility At the site, HIF intends to produce around 11,000 barrels per day of SAF by 2030, decarbonising around 12 billion air passenger miles per year ✈️ JM's technology will combine electrolytic #hydrogen with recycled carbon dioxide to produce methanol. This methanol will then be upgraded into SAF using Honeywell technology. Alberto Giovanzana, JM's Chief Commercial Officer of Catalyst Technologies, said: “We're very excited to be collaborating again with HIF in this leading eFuels project. JM’s sustained innovation on methanol process and catalyst technology is allowing us to move at scale and pace in one of the routes to SAF that is #catalysingnetzero." We look forward to working with CTP closely, and supporting ex-service personnel back into civilian life and through a successful career at JM.
JM #hydrogen technology to cut >95% of emissions at one of the UK’s largest low carbon hydrogen projects 💨🙌 We've signed a LCH™ technology licence with Equinor and Linde Engineering for a low carbon hydrogen production plant in the UK (H2H Saltend). The plant, with >95% carbon capture rate, is one of the first of its kind and scale, helping to establish the estuary on England's east coast as an international hub for low carbon hydrogen. ✔️ Reducing the entire park's emissions by up to a third ✔️ Storing enough CO2 to take the equivalent of 500,000 cars off the road annually ✔️ Operational by 2027 ✔️ Incorporates JM’s innovative GHR- ATR flow scheme Read more: https://lnkd.in/eUXZ-BnB #catalysingnetzero
