It is a natural evolution of KP Snacks’ brand agnostic ‘25 to Thrive’ ranging advice, which supports retailers to maximise their category opportunities with clear, easy to follow advice. Excite and Engage is based around three simple, actionable steps: choosing the right brands and promotions, maximising visibility and amplifying in-store. It shows how added value and visibility can boost impact and sales. With 73% of shoppers buying snacks with value for money in mind, and nearly half (47%) influenced by promotions and discounts, stocking the right brands with compelling on-pack offers can significantly boost sales. The guide also highlights the continued relevance of PMPs (Price Marked Packs) for cost conscious consumers, with 62% of retailers saying that PMPs increase sales and PMPs accounting for the top 10 best selling SKUs. Category display, merchandising and off-fixture opportunities can all help to capture impulse buys and association with key television events also provides a strategic opportunity to further engage shoppers.
Wishing our fabulous colleagues fair winds, smooth waters and sunshine as they take part in this year’s Windermere Row today (Thursday, 1 May) in support of GroceryAid. 2025 will be the 42nd year this challenge has been held, raising vital funds to enable GroceryAid to provide emotional, practical and financial support to current and former employees of the UK grocery industry. Our two KP Snacks boats will row 10 miles down stunning Lake Windermere and attempt to bring home the winning trophy, whilst having some fun and of course, raising money for such a good cause!
