At Kantar, our people get two paid days a year to volunteer with a charitable organisation. One colleague who took advantage of this opportunity was Junaid Ahmed. By day, Junaid is a Product Analyst for Kantar, but recently he took a day out to volunteer at Luton Foodbank. Junaid took advantage of his digital skills and helped advise the charity on its website and plans for a 10th-anniversary campaign next year. Throughout the day, he saw first-hand how volunteering can positively impact a community. Sharing his experience, Junaid said, "I believe it's important to give back within our community where we can. With the cost-of-living crisis, I think it's more important than ever that we try doing our bit to support charities focused on supporting those facing difficult times around us." #WeAreKantar #LifeAtKantar

🌟Inspirational read ahead🌟 At Kantar, our people get two days a year to volunteer to help support their local communities. Olga Roffey, Senior Client Executive Kantar Insights Division, UK & Ireland, recently took part in the annual Wellness Walk organised by Diabetes UK. The day, which saw a huge turnout and raised over £100,000 for further Diabetes research, was deeply personal to Olga. She shared her experience: "I have been a Type 1 diabetic (insulin-dependent) for over 15 years. I set my motivations to do this walk, driven by my personal experience living with Type 1 Diabetes." Type 1 diabetes causes the glucose (sugar) level in the blood to become too high. As a result, the body cannot produce enough insulin, which controls blood glucose. Therefore, those with the condition need to take insulin daily to maintain their blood glucose levels. With personal goals to raise awareness of Type 1 and help a little to take another step toward finding a cure, the walk also helped Olga and others raise awareness of other diabetic-related issues. #WeAreKantar #DiabetesUK
