Here at Morgan we like to give back and our people are constantly finding ways to do so. Our plant in Twinsburg, OH raised $830 for childhood cancer earlier this month and donated it to the charity St Baldrick's Foundation. Bob Highberger, US Master Production Planner, even shaved his head to help bring in more donations!
Our people make the difference at Morgan and we love to highlight our incredible people. Meet Carrie, the North Americas Operating Director for our Seals and Bearings business. Carrie shared with us that through a desire of success and a growth mindset it has helped her become a great leader within her team. The best part of being a leader for her is seeing “experiencing their enthusiasm and pride for the accomplishments they achieve”. Although being a leader can be challenging, Carrie highlights that being aware of your team's needs and offering support allows for a good atmosphere for success! This World Water Day join our teams and help use water more sustainably. Together we can make a difference. Here are some of our water highlights: 👉 At our Pachuca site in Mexico we reduced water consumption by 50%. 👉 At our Gujarat site, the team completed a low-cost repair to rainwater collection tanks, which enabled them to collect and store 30,000 litres of water for use across the site 👉 At our Ranipet site, the team have recently completed a pump audit across the site , as a result they have replaced the centrifugal pump for the furnace cooling circuit with an energy efficient pump. This will reduce the site's carbon emissions by 39.25 metric tonnes per annum
