When the Morgan Brothers founded The Morgan Crucible Company in 1856, they couldn't find a suitable existing publication for them to promote their ceramic crucible offering, so they decided to do things the Morgan way and set up their own! In 1859 the brothers founded 'Morgan Brothers Publishers', with flagship titles 'Chemist and Druggist' and the 'Ironmonger journals' focused on promoting their own business to their customers in these key markets. At Morgan we are committed to building a caring safety culture. Recently, we spoke to Glen who has been based at our St Marys, USA site and has been a member of our Morgan family for over 27 years. Glen has worked within many departments of the plant and faced many safety challenges over his 27 years of working at Morgan. Throughout this time Glen has demonstrated a passion and commitment for safety. Glen shared with us that he uses personal stories to help people relate to safety experiences and in turn these keep the team engaged with safety messaging. He believes that it is crucial to make time for safety. Glen’s key safety message is ‘production doesn't happen if everyone doesn't come back every day’. When considering the best approach to your cyber security, many of the websites and apps you're already using are likely to be making suggestions on ways you protect the personal data in your online accounts. One of those ways is through Multifactor Authentication, or MFA . You might already have encountered this; perhaps when logging in to a website which then sent a code to your phone for you gain access to an online account; in which case feel free to skip past this post.
